Despite multiple hurricanes in 2004, residents still grew complacent when it came time to evacuate, according to a University of Central Florida survey of county emergency managers.

Residents who say they ignored evacuation orders:
Before Hurricane Charley: 31%
Before Hurricane Frances: 15%
Before Hurricane Ivan: 16%
Before Hurricane Jeanne: 31%
